Wow… thoughts about weeks one.
For starters I know that this is just the calm before the storm. However I am a little fraustrated right now, simply because I wrote a nice response on the EWP blog and it wouldn’t post. The sad thing is that I can’t seems to put the words back together the way I had them. So I went onto the next step and I will go back there later. It is a shame that there is not a save draft option or something. Oh well…welcome to the world of technology.
I have really started to see how cool bloglines can be. When we first looked at Bloglines last summer I didn’t think I had a use for it, but I am really liking it now. Could it be something I use in the class room well that is waiting to be seen.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one having problems… but sorry you’re having them, too.
How can these be used effectively in the classroom? Aren’t you afraid of … off-topic comments? etc?

Wow, the pressure of getting that question right about the color of an orange is about to get to me!
I don’t think we’re going to have a storm. I’ve tried to lay out a few tasks for each week that shouldn’t take tons of time. I’m actually hoping we can have a leisurely stroll together instead of that hectic pace of summer institute or even digital stories. I may have misjudged the trip though but am confident that if I have, several folks will let me know.

Actually Shannon I do use a blog with my students. You may feel free to look at it if you want. Being in the elementary world I don’t use it so to speak as far as writing and such, but rather as an information station. Here is the address: http://www.muwp.org/muwp65
